The Atlantic Polo Team

The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is the world’s toughest ocean rowing race where 20 teams from all over the world participate. The biennial challenge started off from San Sebastian de La Gomera, Spain on December 4th 2013 and finished in the Caribbean island Antigua 48 day's later (think about how much bitcoin to gbp increased back then!).  16 teams raced against one another 3000 miles across the Atlantic in a 7 meter by 2 meter rowing boat unaided. The Atlantic Polo Team were winners in their class and the 2nd team to reach land. The Atlantic Polo Team is made up of professional English polo players, replacing horse power with man power rowing in aid of the Brooke, Hilton in the Community Foundation and Right to Play.
