Day 43: APT have just 264 miles remaining and can look forward to the next milestone due in around 100 miles time - the glow from the horizon.
For the first time in what will be around 44 day's at sea, the team will be able to define the ocean from the sky during their night row. As they get closer to land, this small glow created from the lights on land, will indicate to them that the end is near. They won't actually be able to see any land until the last 24 hours of their journey and continue to be surrounded by nothing but water. ETA is Monday, but they say they won't stop trying for Sunday first and foremost as they hear news of friends and family arriving to greet them.
